Beacon’s Parade of Green
Join the EGA Tribe on Saturday, March 9th to march in Beacon’s Parade of Green! Deck yourself out in your fave EGA gi, rash guard, or swag and sprinkle in some St. Paddy’s day accessories. We have kids hoodies ($25) and EGA logo rash sets in stock in Beacon if you’d like to grab something new! We will meet at 11:30 (time subject to slightly change – a notification will go out!) at the intersection of 9D and Main Street. We hope you can join us! Everyone is invited!!
Schedule Updates!
We have updated both our Adults and Kids BJJ schedules in Beacon. PLEASE take a look to make sure you have the correct time and uniform for your class. *New* Kids Competition Class
The time has finally come to announce a Kids Competition Class! Beginning March 19, this INVITE ONLY class is scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5-6pm in Beacon. This class is already reflected on our full EGA schedule found HERE. We are excited to provide our young competitors, and soon-to-be competitors, an opportunity to specifically train for competition with this intentionally more rigorous class. Your child’s coach will reach out regarding an invitation. If you have any questions regarding eligibility please speak with their coach!

*NEW* Kids Uniform Requirement
Beginning April 1st please note a No Gi Uniform Mandate for our Kids No Gi classes. In the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu there are 2 styles of uniform: Gi (kimono) and No Gi (rash guard and shorts; spats/leggings can be worn under shorts). Not only will this provide a sense of team unity, but will also create a safer and cleaner environment in which to train.
Please note the following details for the rash guard sets:
– Rash guards must be BLACK (short or long sleeves are acceptable). Any accent colors on the top must be red or grey (EGA School Colors), while remaining predominantly black.
– Shorts (and optional spats/leggings underneath) must also be predominantly black with the same acceptable accent colors as the top.
– EGA logo sets are currently available at EGA Beacon for $50/piece or $100/full set.– There are many acceptable options available at varying price points on Amazon.
